YOUthDIG 2026 – Call for Applications is open!

Applications are now open for YOUthDIG 2026 (Youth Dialogue on Internet Governance), the annual youth pre-event to the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG). YOUthDIG brings together young people from across Europe who are interested in understanding, discussing, and shaping the digital policies that influence our societies.

Each year, YOUthDIG fully funds participants to take part in an intensive learning and exchange programme that combines capacity building, policy discussions, and intercultural dialogue. Participants gain hands-on experience with key Internet governance topics and are supported in developing the confidence and skills needed to actively contribute to EuroDIG and wider digital policy debates.

The programme will take place from May 23 to 27 in Brussels. Selected participants are obligated to take part in the YOUthDIG programme from 23 to 25 May, and then continue on to EuroDIG from 26 to 27 May. Participation also includes mandatory webinars held in advance of the in-person events, designed to introduce key Internet governance concepts and support collaborative preparation.

YOUthDIG especially welcomes applicants who are new to Internet governance and eager to learn. The programme is open to young people from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, including but not limited to technology, law, cybersecurity, arts, communications, medicine, biology, and social sciences. Applicants who want to explore how digitalisation and Internet policies affect their own fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

Application is open to anyone aged 18–30 (by 21 May 2026) residing in the Pan-European region. The application deadline is 16 February 2026 at 23:59 CET (Brussels time). Find the application form here. The FAQ provides all necessary information for potential applicants.

YOUthDIG offers a unique opportunity to learn, exchange perspectives, and meaningfully contribute to Europe’s digital future. We are looking forward to welcoming the 2026 cohort!
