EuroDIG 2025 Public Planning Meeting
Last week, we conducted the EuroDIG 2025 Public Planning Meeting with around 45 members of the EuroDIG Community who joined to discuss the programme. In an open call for comments, everyone could already submit ideas on the draft programme before the meeting. In case you would like to re-watch the meeting, you can find the recording on the EuroDIG website.
In consolidating the feedback, some sessions were merged and adjusted to prevent thematic overlap and ensure a streamlined programme structure. A significant new feature is the structure of the Main Sessions: instead of panel discussions, they will be moderated community dialogues.
Consolidated programme
The results of the Public Planning Meeting have been incorporated by the Programme Committee in a consolidated programme, which is now published on the EuroDIG Wiki.
EuroDIG 2025 will incorporate 5 Main Topics:
- WSIS+20 recommendations
- Online privacy
- European Digital and Cyber Strategy 2030
- Europe vs. Tech Giants going wild
- AI regulation and governance
as well as 11 Workshops and 8 Flash Sessions. Additionally, several pre-sessions will be independently organised by different communities.
The Programme Committee is now working on session teasers as thematic guidance. The details of each session, however, will be determined by the respective Org Teams. A call to join the Org Teams will soon be published.
EuroDIG 2025 takes place May 12-14 in Strasbourg, France, hosted by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Luxembourg Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
