EuroDIG Extra on April 30: Understanding Quantum Technology
We invite you to join the next EuroDIG Extra on April 30, 13:00–14.30 CEST. In this online session, experts will introduce quantum technology’s core concepts and current state as well as emerging policy implications. The EuroDIG Extra will set the stage for Workshop 3 at EuroDIG 2025, which will deepen the discussion on “Global Challenges and Security Opportunities” of Quantum Computing.
Introducing Main Topic 04
The fourth Main Topic session at EuroDIG 2025 will open the discussion on the “Transatlantic rift on Freedom of Expression”. The session will take place on May 13, 16:00-17:30 CEST.
- What is the session about?
The recent tensions between tech giants from across the Atlantic and European regulators center around fundamental disagreements on the scope of freedom of expression. Politicized charges about censorship are leveled against attempts to rein in disinformation and interference in elections. The session will discuss appropriate European responses to these developments and look for reconciliation possibilities between the diverging approaches.
