Meet the Focal Point – Pekka Kanerva
Pekka Kanerva coordinated the Org Team of Workshop 2: Digital information literacy as a modern civic skill – a Finnish perspective which is going to take place as part of EuroDIG2023 next week.

Pekka Kanerva is a public speaking and presentation skills coach, and adviser on countering hate speech. In the latter role he has worked with for example the National Police Board of Finland, the Association of Finnish Business School Graduates, and the Association of Finnish Lawyers.
He has an MSc (Econ) degree from Aalto University, Helsinki and has previously done a twenty years international business career in targeted marketing operations and technology, and achieved multiple international marketing awards.
At EuroDIG Pekka represents Faktabaari, the leading Finnish organization on fact checking and digital information literacy.

Those participants who are going to be onsite in Tampere for EuroDIG2023, need to register until June 14 in order to be granted access to the EuroDIG reception at Tampere City Hall on June 20. If you register at a later date, your spot at the social event is not guaranteed.
