Join the Third Edition of .eu Day at the European Parliament!

On December 4, 2024, the European Parliament’s Members’ Salons will host the third edition of .eu Day, a dynamic event dedicated to discussions on digital policy and internet security and share “EuroDIG Messages” in an open debate. From breakfast to lunch, attendees will participate in debates on fostering an open and secure internet across the EU, engaging directly with Members of the European Parliament. This event, organised by EURid in close collaboration with EuroDIG and the European Internet Forum, invites stakeholders to voice their perspectives and join a vital dialogue on Europe’s digital future.

Please note: A valid access pass is required for entry. We can provide these passes and assist to access the European Parliament in the morning only.Re-entering the Parliament is not possible once you have left the building.

The third .eu Day will feature speakers who bring diverse expertise in digital policy, journalism, and public affairs:

  • Marina Kaljurand, MEP and former Estonian Foreign Minister, leads the European Internet Forum’s Steering Committee
  • Sophie Timmermann, deputy head of CORRECTIV’s fact-checking team, specialises in media literacy and disinformation
  • Hans Seeuws, Business Operations Manager at EURid, has over a decade of experience in the domain industry.
  • Giacomo Mazzone, EuroDIG board member, contributes insights on EU election integrity.
  • Lara Levet, Meta’s EU Public Policy Manager, has a background in competition law.
