Meet the Focal Point – Concettina Cassa
Leading up to EuroDIG 2026, we are going to introduce the people who are coordinating the collaborative session planning – our Focal Points – and their session topics.
This week, we are introducing Concettina Cassa who serves as Head of International Digital Affairs at the Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (AgID). She is an active member of the Italian Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Committee and has been coordinating IGF Italia since 2017. Previously, she contributed as a member of the Internet Governance Forum’s Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) and currently co-chairs the MAG Working Group on Strategy. She is also part of the IGF National and Regional Initiatives (NRIs) network, where she supports stronger connections between the global IGF and IGF Italia.
With over 30 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure and digital policy, Concettina brings deep expertise and a long-standing commitment to shaping the digital landscape.
Concettina is the Focal Point for Workshop 7: Implementing WSIS+20: Multistakeholder Perspectives and Ambitions of National and Regional Initiatives. If you would like to contribute to this session, we warmly invite you to join the Org Team by signing up for the session mailing list. We particularly encourage those active in national and regional Internet Governance initiatives to get involved and be part of the discussion.
Join an Org Team!
The consolidated programme for EuroDIG 2026 covers many topics from digital sovereignty and AI to online safety and new standardisation. Anyone with a particular interest in the session topics can sign up to the respective mailing list and thereby join the Org Team to shape the session content. This process is open and coordinated by the Focal Points. Find all sessions on the EuroDIG Wiki.Â
