Join the next EuroDIG Extra: Global Digital Compact (GDC) zero-draft
We invite you to join the upcoming EuroDIG Extra, an interactive online format in which we discuss timely questions in the sphere of Internet governance. On April 25, 2024 at 14:00 CEST, the EuroDIG community is updated on the GDC zero-draft paper and is called to collaboratively develop a position on its content and structure. - What is the Global Digital Compact?
In July 2018, UN Secretary-General António Guterres established the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation. One outcome of this panel is the recommendation for a Global Digital Compact (GDC). The EuroDIG community is following this process closely and contributed to all related developments. (See here the history.)
- What happens at the EuroDIG Extra?
We will give a detailed and comprehensive presentation followed by interaction with participating stakeholders. This shall enable the you, EuroDIG community, to formulate an input into the ongoing multilateral process in New York that will build on the zero-draft in the period leading up to the summit in September.
